Hi there! Wondering who this person is who just decided to pop up and bake out of her kitchen? Let me introduce myself and share my vision!

My name is Kyla Buldhaupt, I am a South Dakota native. In high school I remember playing the “10-year future” game in English class, and I knew than that I would never move to Minnesota (mainly because I had cousins there and knew they went to school till June sometimes and thought that was bananas) and I would never marry a farmer. But hey guess what? I moved to Minnesota in 2013 and married a farmer in 2017.

So, I am married to a farmer and have 3 wild little boys. Not only do we have close to 2,000 acres of ground we farm we also have 3 hog barns, totaling 5,000 hogs. Needless to say, it is never boring here.

In 2021, I left my job after almost 8 years to help on the farm more. I take care of the bookwork for the farm, play taxi driver for our children as needed, parts runner, help in the field during the spring and fall, every 3 months our hog barns empty and I pressure wash our hog barns, and SO much more.

As if my life isn’t busy enough, I started a business! Farmily Goods has been a vision I have had and spoke of often. My end goal is to transition this business to offering prepared meals for purchase, offer fun classes for friends to gather and prep meals, and so much more!

For now though, I am operating under Cottage Food Law out of my kitchen until I can expand to a commercial kitchen.
